WALTER D'ANNA

Walter studied Energy Engineering at the Università degli Studi di Firenze and completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. He has been working in the field of industrial property since 2012, after a training focused on patents and systematic innovation that started in 2007.

He qualified as an industrial property consultant in 2016 and he passed the European Qualifying Examination (EQE) in 2022.

Since joining Invention in 2019, Walter has been responsible for drafting patent applications and prosecuting patent applications both domestically and internationally; he also conducts patent searches and advises on patent infringement and freedom to operate. Walter has experience in patent litigation and has also served as an expert witness.
